PAINTINGS
My photorealistic paintings are an exploration of the interplay between the tangible and the intangible, between reality and the ephemeral. Through the use of layering acrylic and an airbrush and resin, I seek to capture the elusive and ineffable qualities that define our experience of the world around us.
Each successive layer of paint on resin becomes more diffuse and abstract, blurring the boundaries between the concrete and the abstract, the representational and the non-representational. This creates an uncanny feeling that is both soft yet vivid, dreamy and nostalgic yet familiar.
In my work, I am interested in the ways in which we construct meaning and memory through our encounters with the material world. By blurring the boundaries between the real and the imagined, I seek to create a space where viewers can reflect on their own perceptions and experiences, and perhaps even discover new ways of seeing and understanding the world around them.

My series of photorealistic landscape drawings explores the power of stillness and contemplation in the face of the overwhelming beauty of nature. Through an obsessive attention to detail and an emphasis on realism, I have created works that are imbued with a sense of quiet and calm, inviting the viewer to engage in a meditative and reflective experience.
Each drawing is executed with an intense focus on detail, with every element of the landscape rendered with the utmost accuracy. The resulting images are highly realistic, conveying a sense of the vastness and majesty of nature. However, the highly realistic quality of the work is not meant to create a sense of spectacle, but rather to invite the viewer to slow down and engage with the work in a contemplative manner.
The stillness and contemplative quality of these drawings is also achieved through the careful use of composition and lighting. Each work is designed to evoke a sense of stillness and timelessness, inviting the viewer to enter into a space of reflection and introspection. The light in each drawing is carefully crafted to create a sense of depth and atmosphere, contributing to the overall sense of quiet and contemplation.
