The Red Wing Arts Fall Festival happens the 2nd weekend of October in the center of beautiful downtown Red Wing. This juried fine arts festival is one of Red Wing Arts’ core events, and typically brings over 16,000 people to the Red Wing area. This weekend is an exciting time – visitors come for the festival but spend lots of time enjoying the city as well. Our restaurants are full, hotels are bustling, and there is much to do to celebrate our community and the arts. Festival visitors can expect a variety of high-caliber original works of art for purchase, as well as other opportunities to be inspired: whether it’s listening to music on the main stage, creating something beautiful in our youth interactive zone, eating some delicious food, or participating in a community demonstration.
